Tombstone, AZ is the home of the wild west! Cowboy re-enactors fill the streets of the somewhat touristy town. Despite the kitsch, it’s worth a visit to experience a “gunfight” at the OK Corral, and see the infamous Birdcage Theater:

Mission San Xavier del Bac is also known as the White Dove of the Desert due to the white washed facade of this stunning church. The architectural mix of European and Native influences is a must see, just south of Tucson:
